With the rational design, robust material and rough finish of her round and oval concrete pots, Marie Michielssen explores the more masculine aspects of design. The oval pots have been given rectangular handles on the side, while the ears of the round pots adopt the art deco shape that is so often reflected in her artworks and designs. Many of our designs are finished by hand, this may lead to irregularities and is considered a part of the uniqueness of each piece.
This pot is treated with a thin waterproof coating on the inside, but this does not guarantee 100% watertightness. Therefore, we recommend not to plant directly in the pot, but to place the plant in a plastic pot + saucer or use a plastic bag on the inside. Cracks can form if the plant is planted directly in the pot.
